The Africa Cup of Nations will go back to its previous time slot of January and February for the next edition in 2021, hosts Cameroon stated on Wednesday.

The Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) exposed that the competition will be played from January 9 to February 6, 2021, on their demand due to issues about the weather condition.
The competition was transferred to a June-July slot for in 2015’s very first 24- group edition in Egypt, in big part to prevent encountering the European club season.
