Cops in Kogi State on Saturday saved 3 abduct victims from their kidnappers who held them in captivity for 6 days.

The spokesperson of the state Cops Command, William Aya, stated in a declaration that the victims– Mr. Mohammed Salisu Cache, Mr. Abdulraq Mohammed, and Abdulraq Anataku– were saved unhurt in the early hours of Saturday.
Aya stated the trio were abducted at 2: 15 p.m., on December 30, 2019, along the Lokoja-Okene Roadway.

According to him, the victims were taking a trip in a lorry from Lokoja when abductors opened fire on their lorry and eliminated a co-traveller, Mrs. Afusat Suberu, on the area, and afterwards abducted the 3.
The command’s spokesperson stated the victims restored their flexibility when a combined group of operatives from Federal Anti-Robbery Team Unique Forces, Cops Mobile Force, and standard policeman were mobilised for a huge manhunt for them.
” After some extensive pressures from the group of operatives, the abductors launched all the 3 victims safe,” he included. (NAN)
