Applications are open for the Equitas International Person Being Rights Training Program (IHRTP) 2019 The IHRTP is an around the world acknowledged substantial 3 week training program for human rights instructors.
It is the only training in the world especially committed to establishing the ability and capabilities of human rights instructors. The program is an unique possibility for human rights instructors to acquire helpful tools to boost the effectiveness and impact of their work while deepening their understanding of human rights. The program will be kept in Montreal, Canada from June 9-28,2019
Innovative strategy: The Program is an immersion into the participatory strategy. The people are at the heart of the treatment. They examine their work and establish new approaches for action based upon their own experience.
From education to action: Throughout the training, the people develop a particular technique, with the help of coaches, in order to execute their newly gotten understanding and capabilities through activities (training, tasks, evaluations, follow-up, and so on) within their business and in their countries.
Range: The varied professional backgrounds of the people brings a fantastic richness to the program. Every year, close to 90 people from more than 45 countries are accepted to the program based upon their experience and commitment to the field of human rights.
Professional improvement: In addition to the participatory strategy, the program familiarizes people with the human rights-based strategy, the gender perspective and the systems strategy. The people acquire and develop tools for improving the effectiveness and the concrete impact of their work. The IHRTP helps people alter their working strategies by making them more inclusive and participatory.
