ABUJA-Minister of State Foreign Affairs, Hajiya Khadija Abba-Ibrahim says Federal Government was committed towards ensuring early release of kidnapped girls of Government Secondary School Dapchi in Yobe.
Abba-Ibrahim said this when she visited the parents of the abducted girls in company of the Senator representing Yobe East in the National Assembly Senator Bukar Abba â€“Ibrahim, in Dapchi
The Minister who expressed concern over the ugly incidence said that government would not relent until the 110 abducted girls were freed and brought back to their parents safely.
The parents of the kidnapped students had called on the Federal Government to fast track the process of recovering the girls from their abductors.
Some of the parents who spoke in Kanuri expressed sadness over the abduction maintaining that all they wanted was for their children regain freedom.
The Senator representing Yobe East in the National Assembly Sen Bukar Abba-Ibrahim assured the parents of the commitment of National Assembly to work together with President to end terrorism in the country.
The senator who commended the effort of the Federal Government in the fight against terrorism called for harmonious working relationship among the nation’s security agencies for maximum results.
