All prospects looking for admission into the Postgraduate programs of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, should please the WAEC, NECO or NABTEB ‘O’ Level or ‘A’ Level requirements for Enlisting into First Degree programs of the University as authorized by Senate for the different Departments.

BASIC REQUIREMENTSFor admission into the Postgraduate programs in the College of Science, prospects should have 5 Credit passes at not more than 2 sittings in English Language, Mathematics and 2 (2) other pertinent Science topics at ‘O’ Level or ‘A’ Level passes in 2 science topics. POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD) Prospects with Bachelor’s degree from the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, or any other acknowledged University should acquire a minimum of Pass degree in the pertinent Science discipline. Holders of the Greater National Diploma (HND) from an authorized organization should have a minimum of Upper Credit to be thought about for admission.
iii. POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD) Prospects with Engineering background who are looking for the PGD program in the College of Innovation should have gotten a minimum of 3rd Class (Hons) degree or HND (Upper Credit).
