Are you a postgraduate student (or have simply recently ended up) with an interest to promote sensible, democratic and inclusive societies in Africa? Do you want to develop your peacebuilding, research study and analysis capabilities in a lively South African non-profit business that runs in a variety of countries throughout Africa? The Peacebuilding Interventions (PI) Program at the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR) invites applications for a paid internship from potential customers who please the list listed below requirements:.
Needed Talents:.

Abilities in research study and analysis;(********)
Extraordinary interaction capabilities;(********)
Computer system literate– Word, Excel and PowerPoint;(********)
The ability to work individually with attention to info;(********)
Efficiency in English is necessary while another around the world language would be an advantage.
Ability to make up, inspect or customize brief posts, op-eds, and so on.

Responsibilities:.

Carrying out research study and analyses of disagreement and peace in Africa.
Preparing and making up concept notes.
Participating in the preparation and organisation of PI events such as workshops, workshops, & conversations.
Going to designated conferences of the PI program and contributing towards its work.

Academic requirements:.
Prospects require to stay in personal belongings of, or in the treatment of ending up a Masters Degree in Disagreement and Peace Looks Into, Political Researches, Development Looks Into, Human Being Rights, Gender & Peacebuilding, or an associated discipline.
Conditions of assessment:.

An initial 3 months contract will be offered, with the possibility of renewal.
Candidates from South Africa and other African countries are encouraged to utilize.
Prospects require to at the time of application stay in personal belongings of files that allow them to run in South Africa.
