The Centre for Human Being Rights, University of Pretoria now utilizes an LLM/MPhil (Sexual & Reproductive Rights in Africa) degree. This two-year program is utilized as a blended understanding course including online interaction and domestic block-weeks in Pretoria. 2 contact sessions will be established every year (4 contact sessions over a period of 2 years).
The LLM/MPhil (Sexual & Reproductive Rights in Africa) has short-term in addition to lasting goals. In the short-term, it plans to secure the following goals:.

to prepare the trainee with understanding and understanding of sexual and reproductive health and rights from domestic, regional and around the world around the world perspective.

The goals of the Master’s program go beyond the basic enrichment of the trainee. In the lasting, the LLM/MPhil Program should accept individuals, and areas in the African location and beyond, concrete social benefits, including:.

raising of public awareness about sexual and reproductive health and rights.

combating discrimination and prejudgment surrounding sexual and reproductive health and rights.
impacting interventions in sexual and reproductive health and rights across the country and regional levels.
impacting policy-making in sexual and reproductive health and rights at the across the country and regional levels.

Scholarships.

As Much As 15 scholarships are provided for African individuals.
Eligibility.

The LLM degree is open to individuals with an LLB degree or equivalent.
The MPhil degree is open to non-lawyers with a minimum of an honours degree in a scholastic discipline proper to sexual and reproductive rights in AfricaOR any other accreditation in a scholastic discipline proper to sexual and reproductive rights in Africa that allows admission to a master’s program at the company where the undergraduate accreditation was gotten. If that accreditation has a duration of less than 4 years, substantial checked helpful or skilled experience in sexual and reproductive rights in Africa, based upon the discretion of the Dean, is more required.
Prospects need to have extraordinary scholastic credentials and reveal human rights experience or interest. An optimum of fifteen students will be accepted for the 2018 scholastic year.
