Nde starts agric training for 50 youths in Lagos


National Directorate of Work, NDE, Lagos, has actually started its ability acquisition training in sustainable Agricultural Advancement Training Plan, SADTS, targeted at 50 jobless youths.

Speaking throughout the flag-off of the SADTS training plan, Mr. Adebowale Ologbenla, Lagos State Organizer of NDE, who represented the Director General, Dr. Nasir Argungun, divulged that the SADTS program, under the Rural Work Promo Program of NDE, was developed to produce sustainable work for the jobless and interested retired people, thus lowering dependence onfew clerical tasks.

Ologbenla described that it remains in line with the Federal Federal government policy on work generation and task development amongst youths in specific, including that the SADTS program would expose individuals to contemporary strategies in farming production.

Mrs Olumokun, a fitness instructor and previous recipient of NDE program, described that individuals would be tutored in mechanised farming, while Mr. Jones, another previous recipient, motivated individuals to take interest in the program, which had actually been of fantastic advantage to him.Participants will be going through training in animals production, crop production and company strategy.
