Applications for the TEF-UNDP Sahel Youth Entrepreneurship Program 2019 are now open. The TEF-UNDP Sahel Youth Entrepreneurship Program is a partnership in between the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Tony Elumelu Structure (TEF) to empower 100,000 additional entrepreneur over 10 years from 7 Sahel African countries: Northern Nigeria, Niger, Chad, Cameroun, Mauritania, Mali and Burkina Faso. The partnership will target young Africans in under-served areas.
The goal is to produce 10 million new jobs and contribute a minimum of $10 billion to the African economy. The Program leverages the tried and validated strategy to philanthropy on the continent stemmed by the Tony Eluemlu Structure. It prioritises and puts entrepreneurship as the necessary enabler to catalyse the monetary improvement of the African continent.
Reliable African entrepreneur will get non-refundable seed capital, access to a 12- week organisation training and mentoring. They will similarly get direct exposure and different organisation networking opportunities.
Open to entrepreneur from 7 Sahel African countries: Northern Nigeria, Niger, Chad, Cameroun, Mauritania, Mali and Burkina Faso.
