CTA is looking for an incredibly urged and result-oriented intern to support the ICT4Ag group.
The Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) is a joint international company of the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States and the European Union (EU). Its goal is to advance food security, resilience and inclusive monetary advancement in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific through advancements in sustainable farming. CTA runs under the structure of the Cotonou Agreement and is moneyed by the EU.

CTA imagines farming in ACP countries as a vibrant, modern and sustainable service that establishes worth for smallholder farmers, company owner, youth and women, and produces economical, healthy and healthy food for all.
Internship background.
CTA has an opening for an intern within the Policies, Markets and ICTs (PMI) Program. The reliable possibility will support Youth Entrepreneurship and ICT for farming efforts within the ICT4Ag group.
Responsibilities & commitments.
Under the help and assistance of the ICT4Ag group leader, the intern will assist in the following activities:.
Support the application of activities connecting with youth, entrepreneurship, ICTs and farming including the following tasks:.

AgriHack Ability effort which supports ICT advancements and entrepreneurship in Farming;(**********************)
The “Youth Economic Empowerment in Agribusiness in Kenya (VijaBiz) task;(**********************)
The Perfect Burkina task that makes it possible for delivery of digital services to young farmers and agripreneurs in Burkina Faso;(**********************)
Blockchain for farming;(**********************)
ICT-enabled mechanisation in Africa.

Promote CTA’s youth agripreneurship exchange platforms and other Dgroups:.

Management of the web 2.0 locations of CTA’s youth focused Facebook Page, Twitter accounts and newsletter;(**********************)
Support animation of other social media networks accounts such as twitter and Dgroups of Apps4Ag Database, ICT4Ag, UAV4Ag, and so on;(**********************)
Organisation of thematic e-debates as part of ability structure and networking systems for young digital agripreneurs when required;(**********************)
Support the organisation of social reporting activities when required.

Contribute to comprehending capitalisation for all task carried out and fundraising:.

Collection, acknowledgment of results and result elements on all activities carried out;(**********************)
Preparing posts and activity reports;(**********************)
Plan of inputs for the customizing and productions of publications;(**********************)
Making infographics, video animations, and other online interaction items.
Support other ICT for farming tasks as requested by the Group leader.

Accreditations, experience and capabilities required.

Present graduate, in between 21 and 29 years of ages (optimum).
National of amongst the ACP or EU States signatory to the Cotonou Agreement (79 African, Caribbean and Pacific States and the European Union Member States).
University (or equivalent company of college) degree in farming, information and interaction or other discipline proper to the jobs to perform.
Experience in online network animation and understanding of vital ICT4D issues.
Capabilities and experience with the improvement of innovative interaction tools such as animations, infographics, and so on.
Experience in task management is a plus.
Impressive interaction, social and organisational capabilities.
Strong computer system capabilities.
Impressive understanding of English or French and rewarding command of the other language.
Excited interest in farming and rural improvement issues in developing countries is an advantage.

Internship stipend (EUR 800 every month for holder of a Bachelor’s degree, EUR 1,000 every month for holder of a Master’s degree).
