The National Union of Air Transportation Personnel (NUATE) will on Dec. 14 start an across the country demonstration over the hold-up in the release of the conditions of service of all air travel firms by the National Wages, Earnings and Earnings Commission.
The union released the hazard in a Notification of Strike Action signed by its General Secretary, Mr Phillip Nkiru, which was gotten by the News Company of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Lagos.
NAN reports that the air travel firms are: the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, the Nigerian Airspace Management Company, the Nigerian Civil Air Travel Authority, the Mishap Examination Bureau and the Nigerian Meteorological Company.

According to the union, the choice to start the demonstration was reached after an emergency situation conference of all presidents and basic secretaries, consisting of essential officers of the union in Lagos.
” It was dealt with that an across the country congress of all employees in the air travel market be assembled to reveal our discouragement over the hold-up in the approval of their conditions of service by the National Wages, Earnings and Earnings Commission.
” By this notification, all employees in the air travel market are advised to come out enmasse on Dec. 18 in all their different stations to mobilise, sensitise and object on the hold-up of the release of their conditions of service in all air travel firms. (NAN).
