The Professional Fellows Program– Advancing Women Agribusiness Entrpreneurs and Innovators hosted at Michigan State University (MSU) links Ugandan, Tanzanian, and Kenyan agribusiness specialists and company owner with their equivalents in Michigan for comprehending exchange and ability structure. The program improves having a look at fellows’ capabilities in agro-entrepreneurship and agri-food system advancement, and addresses issues of women’s monetary empowerment.

MSU is working with young Tanzanian, Kenyan, and Ugandan specialists from different backgrounds in individual, public, non-governmental, and education sectors who are either women agribusiness company owner or individuals working to increase women’s monetary engagement in the farming sector.

Women company owner, social innovators, or little and medium business owner or managers and other leaders running in the farming and food sectors.
Individuals (of any gender) in civil society and NGOs handling programs that support women in the farming and food sectors in their specific countries.
Policymakers, ministry employees, and others in the public sector (of any gender) focused on supporting and boosting possibilities for women in the farming or food sector.
Academic workers (of any gender) who are carrying out programs to result advancing women in the farming and food sectors.


25-40 years of ages.
An individual, across the country, or long-lasting regional of Tanzania, Kenya, or Uganda.
Is living and operating in Tanzania, Kenya, or Uganda at the time of the application.
Speaks skilled English.
Has at least 2 years of professional/working experience in their field.
Has really revealed management and cumulative capabilities and a devotion to area.
Has business’s support for participating in the program (for those.not self-employed). For those self-employed, has recommendation from.regional authorities at the district, county, and/or area levels.
Has an interest in participating in a shared program for American people referring to your country.
Option will be supplied to those who stay in an earlier state of their occupations.
Option will be supplied to prospects who have not previously had the possibility to travel to the United States.
