Applications are open for the United States Department of State’s Professional Fellows Program 2019 The Professional Fellows Program (PFP) is a two-way, global exchange program developed to promote mutual understanding, enhance management and professional capabilities, in addition to establish long-term, sustainable partnerships in between mid-level emerging leaders from foreign countries and the United States.
PFP people are placed in comprehensive 5-6 week fellowships in non-profit business, financial sector organisations, and federal government offices throughout the United States for an independently personalized professional improvement experience. They establish a broad network with American and other program specific partners as they develop a much deeper understanding of U.S. society. The PFP is a two-way exchange, with American people who have really hosted foreign fellows travelling overseas for participant-driven shared programs.
Each finalist of the program will:.

Run in a full-time fellowship placing in a United States worksite handling issues linking to his/her work at home. While there fellows will obtain first-hand understanding about United States business and companies and establish networks and relationships with United States equivalents.
Participate in a fully-funded program with detailed on program help. Travel and living strategies will be covered in addition to emergency scenario medical insurance coverage, and visa expenses on program.
Participate in prominent networks– including YSEALI (for Southeast Asian people simply) and PFP. Alumni will get to exceptional resources and an around the world network of comparable professionals covering the world.
