Applications are open for the USIP Generation Adjustment Exchange with His Holiness the Dalai Lama2019 The U.S. Institute of Peace and His Holiness the Dalai Lama have really partnered to establish bridges in between around the world leaders and youth peacebuilders.
In help of UN Security Council Resolution 2250 on Youth, Peace and Security, this partnership will establish a location where helpful, intergenerational conversations can happen that start to lessen the divides separating the work of youth leaders and more basic leaders.
The program will bring a group of youth peacebuilders to Dharamsala for 2 days of conversation with the Dalai Lama to review approaches which youth can partner with around the world leaders to establish peace. Number of world leaders can understand the experience of youth peacebuilders as completely as His Holiness, who, at age 15, was thrust into the management of his people as they handled the injuries of war.
